How to oil cleanse your face?
Just take half to one teaspoon of oil of your own preference.
Apply it on your dry face using fingertips.
Gently massage the oil into your skin for 1 to 2 minutes.
It will remove all the makeup dirt and dead skin.
#You can gradually increase the time to 15 to 20 minutes.
While massaging you may feel some kind of particles under your fingertips. These are what we call oil plugs.
Oil plugs are the congestion inside your pores. You will also see some blackheads and whiteheads under your fingertips that came out of your pores due to oil cleansing.
Use a damp dry wash cloth to wipe away the oil.
Do not press too hard or scrub your face as your skin becomes too sensitive and this will irritate your skin.
A smooth soft wash cloth is best.
You can also rinse your face with warm water if you want oil to stay.
Your skin should be hydrated but not greasy.
#Sometimes you won't get the oil plugs and it's alright. You don't have to be afraid that you are doing something wrong because you are not. Some times you get it and sometimes you don't. It's just as simple as that. Though it feels very satisfying when you see the oil plugs but it's ok to not get them.
